Dented Gate Flower Farm
Just 4 miles north of the Woodstock Square, the family-owned Dented Gate Flower Farm grows more than 100 varieties of flowers, including ageratum, agrostemma, amaranth, ast, celosia, cosmos, gomphrena, gypsophila, scabiosa, snapdragons, strawflower, sunflower, and zinnia. There are also some unique varieties of blue glitter, verbena, painted daisies, carnations, lupine, basket flower in shades of pink and yellow, foliage plants, and mums. Plan your visit between July and mid-October to handpick your own unique U-pick flower bouquet.

Richardson Adventure Farm
For those who love tulips and sunflowers, Richardson Adventure Farm is a must-visit. Each spring, beginning in mid-to-late April and continuing into early May, Richardson Adventure Farm hosts a tulip festival featuring more than 500,000 blooming tulips, food trucks, free yard games — including giant checkers, Jenga, and cornhole — live music, and free parking. Richardson Adventure Farm also hosts a sunflower festival during late summer, typically in September, featuring 13 acres of sunflowers creating a picturesque backdrop for your photos. Stade’s Farm & Market
Stade’s Farm & Market has more than 2 acres of sunflowers ready to pick starting in July and lasts through late September. Growing more than a dozen varieties, families are invited to head out into the fields and clip their own sunflowers (clippers provided). Several other cut flowers are also available at Stade’s, including snapdragons, zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, and amaranths.

Tom’s Farm Market
Brighten your home with fresh-picked sunflowers from Tom’s Farm Market! Visitors can cut as many flowers as they can carry from the farm’s 4-acre field — no bags, wagons, or helping hands allowed. And grab your friends for a fun night on the farm during Sip N’ Sunflower events in July and the first weekend of August, featuring a walk through the sunflower fields, wine and beer tasting courtesy of Sew Hop’d Brewery & Taproom, and live music.
