Destination Engagement & Programs Manager
Job Description
Naturally McHenry County seeks a dedicated and skilled Destination Engagement & Programs Manager to foster relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the community. Key responsibilities include:
- Shaping strategic and marketing plans.
- Developing new business partnerships.
- Managing special initiatives like Restaurant Week and the Craft Beverage Trail.
- Supporting local tourism through various programs and events.
This position prefers McHenry County residency and involves a flexible combination of office, remote work, and traveling throughout the county. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in destination tourism/community marketing & communication and/or non-profit program & development work.
Joining our team of two requires a self-motivated and self-managed individual who can work collaboratively with our fourteen-member Board of Directors representing various areas of McHenry County.
Salary: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
